As the amount of monsters determines the amount of time spent on a zone during progression, Monsters Per Zone is a very important statistic to minimize.
However, Borb and Kumawakamaru are the only two mechanics in the game that reduce the Monsters Per Zone statistic.
This causes progression at 2 MPZ to be nearly 9x faster than progression at the ambient 10 MPZ.įurthermore, there are many mechanics in the game that buff the damage statistic. Maintaining 2 MPZ is important because of an effect called "Instakill." Once a player has the DPS to kill a monster in less than one frame, the death animation of the first monster for the next zone is reduced to one frame. Once Kumawakamaru, Ancient of Shadows maxes out at 1498 levels, Borb is the only way to decrease MPZ. Only Borb and Kumawakamaru decrease Monsters Per Zone, which directly impacts your progress by a massive margin.īorb's effect decreases Monsters Per Zone(MPZ) by a large margin.
Borb increases the effectiveness of Kumawakamaru.īorb is the most important outsider by far. However active is even better( in my opinion) and is just hybrid except there is no idle at all, just auto clickers and skills. And as weak as idle is, it is not that bad at first, but it's cap is around 200K, while using hybrid will get you in the millions. Everything combined will boost your zones a bit higher, until the change is dramatic later on. When you stop killing things instantly with auto clickers, you use those skills next to heroes and with skill ancients eventually they will last a long time( mine last about half an hour). Hybrid may only get you a few zones up at the moment, which is why you wait for a while and use idle. Basically, to play Hybrid you use idle until it stops allowing you to kill monsters instantly or really fast, and then use auto clickers with Juggernaut(ancient) to get more DPS and click dmg.

Also check that both of you didn't modify files. Hybrid makes use of idle too though, so you will not stop getting idle ancients up there.
